Barry Manilow and Garry Kief – Together Since 1978
Barry Manilow met Garry Kief in 1978, and their connection was immediate. Garry, a television executive, soon became Barry’s manager, intertwining their professional and personal lives. For decades, they maintained a private relationship until they married in a private 2014 ceremony at their Palm Springs home, surprising guests who believed they were attending a lunch gathering.
The couple publicly acknowledged their marriage in 2015, and Barry officially came out in 2017, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans. Garry’s daughter, Kirsten, from a previous relationship, has been a part of Barry’s life since she was young. In 2023, Kirsten welcomed a daughter, making Barry and Garry proud grandparents.
