April Bowlby initially pursued ballet, French, and marine biology at Moorpark College before transitioning to modeling and acting. Her acting career took off swiftly; within weeks of her first Hollywood audition, she secured the role of Kandi on the CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men” (2006–2015).
Following this success, April dazzled as Stacy Barrett on Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva” (2009–2014), playing a model who becomes a legal assistant, blending humor with heartfelt moments. Never one to shy from a challenge, she further expanded her repertoire by entering the superhero genre, embodying Rita Farr, also known as Elasti-Woman, in the DC Universe series “Doom Patrol” (2019–2023).
