Phoebe Cates – Born in 1963
Phoebe Cates gained the world’s attention for her performances in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” (1982) and “Gremlins” (1984), which cemented her status as a pop culture icon. After stepping back from acting, she channeled her creativity into entrepreneurship. She opened a boutique shop called Blue Tree on New York’s Madison Avenue, offering an eclectic mix of unique and stylish products.
In 1989, Phoebe married actor Kevin Kline, and the couple has two children, Owen and Greta. They have maintained a strong partnership over the years, attributing their successful marriage to living away from the Hollywood spotlight, residing primarily on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
