A distinguished Canadian actor and singer, Len Cariou, gained prominence for his remarkable contributions to theater and television. He is perhaps best known for originating the title role in Stephen Sondheim’s “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” in 1979, a performance that earned him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.

Since 2010, he has portrayed Henry Reagan, the family patriarch, in the CBS television series “Blue Bloods,” bringing gravitas and warmth to the role.
