Born into Hollywood royalty as the daughter of Henry Fonda, Jane Fonda initially pursued modeling, gracing the covers of magazines like Vogue. In 1960, Jane made her Broadway debut in “There Was a Little Girl,” earning a Tony nomination. Her film career took off with the movie “Tall Story,” but it was her role in “Klute” that garnered her first Academy Award for Best Actress.

She secured a second Oscar for “Coming Home,” portraying a woman who falls in love with a paralyzed Vietnam War veteran. In February 2025, at 87, she received the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award, reflecting on her journey and the power of storytelling.
