Was diese rostigen Käfige auf der Lichtung verrieten
Tim traute seinen Augen nicht. Mitten auf der Lichtung standen alte Käfige, als hätte sie jemand hastig abgestellt. Daneben lagen Werkzeuge, die hier draußen fehl am Platz wirkten. Was lief hier? Das Ganze sah nach einer Falle aus. Tiere einfangen, vielleicht weiterverkaufen? Jeder Käfig, jede Zange, jedes Stück Draht schien ein stummer Hinweis zu sein. Alles daran schrie: Das ist nicht gut.
Mit zittrigen Fingern zog Tim sein Handy aus der Tasche und fotografierte jeden Käfig, jedes Werkzeug, jeden verdächtigen Abdruck im Boden. Zur Sicherheit machte er auch eine Skizze der Lichtung, um den Standort festzuhalten. Ihm war bewusst, dass das hier Beweise sein konnten. Je länger er suchte, desto deutlicher wurde: Das war kein Zufallsfund. Jemand hatte mit Absicht alles vorbereitet. Ein Plan, der übel klang.
