Artist John Poppleton takes inspiration from the vastness of the Cosmos in his Black Light Bodyscapes exhibition. Using UV paint, John sprays details onto the body, creating a mesmerizing galaxy that seems to float across the model’s skin. The glowing effect is created by using special paints that come to life under black light, mimicking the endless stars and nebulae we see in space.
The glowing patterns evoke the beauty of distant galaxies, adding depth and texture that make the piece feel like a living, breathing universe. This unique form of body art brings the vastness of space into the intimate form of the human body.
