Prinzessin Caroline rangiert an dritter Stelle unter den Thronfolgern von Monaco und ist die Schwester des jetzigen Fürsten Albert I. Schon in jungen Jahren wurde ihr Privatleben immer wieder zum Stoff internationaler Boulevardzeitungen, rechtlich war sie immer mit Nachdruck dagegen. Die heute 63-jährige Dame setzt sich nach wie vor für den Schutz ihrer Privatsphäre ein und wird wegen den „Caroline-Urteilen“ in die Geschichte eingehen. Die Bundesrepublik Deutschland musste eine Entschädigung für unzureichenden Schutz ihrer individuellen Rechte leisten. Auch heute noch ist sie wegen ihres Mannes in den Medien zu sehen – er soll sich fahrlässig berauscht und einen Wutanfall gehabt haben. Für die beliebte Prinzessin ist dies ein echter Albtraum.
