Wolfgang Petry – 1951
Der deutsche Schlagersänger Wolfgang Petry wurde mit seinen Hitsingles „Der Himmel brennt“ und „Verlieben, verloren, vergessen, verzeihen“ bekannt. Er war weiterhin auch im Rockgenre aktiv und trat dort unter dem Künstlernamen Pete Wolf auf. Der gebürtige Kölner hat im Laufe seiner Karriere verschiedene Auszeichnungen erhalten, wobei er allein fünfmal den begehrten Echo Award gewann. Er kämpft weiterhin aktiv gegen Fremdenfeindlichkeit. Der 69-Jährige hat das letzte Mal 2019 einen neuen Song veröffentlicht, aber vor allem wegen der neuen Corona-Pandemie ist er 2020 in den Ruhestand gegangen.
