You Won’t Believe How These 45 Reporter Fails Were Aired On TV!

An F-Bomb Has Been Dropped

Teleprompters are invaluable tools news anchors use to easily read their scripts while keeping their eyes focused on the camera. Despite this, mistakes can still happen during a live broadcast, and sometimes, they can be pretty memorable for viewers.

Take, for example, the 2011 incident with Holly Pietrzak, a reporter for Virginia’s WDBJ7. During one of her reports, she was about to say the word “luck,” but instead, an F-word slipped out—a literal Freudian slip. At least it rhymed, right? What’s even more priceless is the newsreader trying to keep her composure while realizing her blunder. All Pietrzak was trying to say was, “more teens are having luck finding summer jobs.”
