Majid Asfour, former editor-in-chief of the Jordanian newspaper Al Rai Arabic, is challenging the stereotype of what an analyst should look like. During an interview with Al-Jazeera, he appeared to be a professional in a suit. Unknown to the interviewer, Asfour was not wearing a complete outfit.
In a separate Twitter video, Asfour is seen propping his laptop over his lap with two pillows to guarantee the rest of his body wasn’t in the shot. Apparently, it was sweltering when the Skype interview happened, so he opted for a more comfortable outfit. The Abu Dhabi Network channel shared the footage, which has been shared widely, garnering thousands of views.
