Sonic Runway Lights the Night
When the Sonic Runway left the desert and landed at San Jose City Hall Plaza, it lit up the streets like a carnival for sound waves. The tunnel of glowing rings stretched for what felt like forever, pulling in crowds who wanted to walk through a rainbow without the rain.
After conquering the desert at Burning Man, this installation decided regular city life needed some serious neon intervention. Locals who might have expected a casual evening stroll found themselves inside a giant sci-fi light show. People wandered, laughed, and posed for photos as though they had stumbled into the world’s most futuristic catwalk.
