You Won’t Believe What People Were Doing and Wearing At Burning Man

Sunset Patrol on Wheels

As the sun dips low over the desert, these riders look like they’re patrolling their own quirky version of Main Street. With tents and odd structures rising around them, the bikes feel less like transportation and more like part of the scenery, blending seamlessly into Burning Man’s strange and wonderful chaos.

There’s something unintentionally heroic about the stance, too, as if they’re guarding the Playa from boredom. What’s more amusing is that no one looks rushed. The air of calm hovers even as wheels spin and dust rises, a reminder that fun at Burning Man doesn’t always have to be loud or flashy.
