Michael Christian’s EPOD is less an art piece and more an excuse for people to throw themselves into controlled chaos. Standing 21 feet tall, the spinning steel sphere looks like a playground for adults who traded their swing sets for tutus and neon socks.
Watching it turn slowly, you’d think it was calm, until you notice the fearless climbers dangling from its edges like human ornaments. The best part is how it never stops moving. People hop on, scramble around, and leap off while others climb in without breaking the rhythm. It’s equal parts sculpture, carnival ride, and workout routine.
