Tigre Mashaal-Lively probably hoped his “Facing the Fearbeast” sculpture would send people running across the desert. But these two decided to treat it more like a really cool photo opportunity instead. The massive creature looks intimidating, yet this woman and her friend are hanging out nearby like they’re at a petting zoo.
The whole intimidation factor kind of loses steam when Burners approach your monster art installation with the energy they’d bring to meeting a cute kitten. Sure, the sculpture has all the classic fear elements like the giant teeth, menacing posture, and apparent taste for humans, but Burners are built differently.
