A lot of mistakes which are found in the show are due to the time lag between the seasons, mainly due to the fact that writers obviously forget the minute details of the characters such as their birthdays. Phoebe’s birthday is supposed to be in February if we rely on the information presented to us in Season 3. However, in Season 9, she is shown celebrating it during Halloween. Maybe she deliberately delayed it because it’s a good time for shopping. Honestly, we’re just as confused as you are right now!
