Billionaire Louis Bacon Owns The Robins Island Which He Bought For $11 Million
The investor and hedge fund manager Louis Bacon acquired this beautiful island back in 1993 and he reportedly paid $11 million. With his billion-dollar fortune, you can see why this is a small price to pay for a private island. The Robins Island was underdeveloped when Louis bought it. The 435-acre property is located in Peconic Bay in New Suffolk. It was originally supposed to be a Suffolk County-owned nature reserve but that didn’t happen. Louis has renovated the island and can now enjoy his own private little paradise.
