Floridians Who Fought Hurricane Irma with a Sense of Humor, and Won The Internet
Natural disasters like Irma never makes for pleasantries. Unless you are in Florida! Floridians make a joke of everything, right from their car loans and home insurance premiums, to North Korea and Irma (adjacent placements purely coincidental). We trotted to the Internet for some funny Irma memes and jokes and were summarily overwhelmed by how cool some people can be about a storm accompanied by days of heavy rains. Credits go to Oldsmar, 36. Well, no. President Obama really did not have anything to do with Hurricane Irma. The hurricane is a natural phenomenon (disaster), and President Obama was an elected congressman. We did not elect Irma, neither did Obama select her (he chose some grand real estate with high property insurance after leaving the White House though). But hey, it’s Florida!
