Robin van Persie, een van de meest geliefde iconen van het Nederlandse voetbal, heeft zijn droomhuis gevonden in Rotterdam. De oud-international kocht een prachtige villa voor € 6,5 miljoen, een transactie die extra bijzonder werd doordat de verkoper niemand minder was dan ondernemer Michel Perridon. Omdat beide heren trouwe Feyenoord-fans zijn, was er vanaf het begin een band, wat de verkoop een persoonlijk tintje gaf. Perridon sprak openlijk zijn trots uit dat zijn woning in handen kwam van een sportheld die zoveel voor Rotterdam heeft betekend.
De villa zelf ademt stijl en klasse. Omringd door een royale tuin en gelegen in de chique wijk Hillegersberg, vormt de woning een oase van rust in de dynamische havenstad. De inrichting weerspiegelt de verfijnde smaak waar Perridon om bekendstaat, met oog voor detail en elegantie. Dat de deal vlot en zonder complicaties werd afgerond, is dan ook geen verrassing.
