If You Stored Any of These Vintage Vinyl Records, You Basically Hit The Jack-Pot

Max Steiner – The Caine Mutiny | $6.7K

The Caine Mutiny is probably one of the most valuable soundtracks in history. Why is it worth so much? Most of the copies printed had been destroyed. The soundtrack was for a film adaptation of a Herman Wouk novel, and Wouk didn’t want the album released.

This was because the album contained, not only music but dialogue recordings. With some parts of it being direct excerpts from Wouk’s work, he felt like they were stealing from him. However, before they were destroyed, some copies were salvaged, and they’re now worth over $6K.
