These Dads Have Failed Gloriously At Parenting And That’s Okay
Becoming a father can be one of the most rewarding and magical experiences in a man’s life. And while the process of raising a baby, a toddler, and even a teenager can come with plenty of personal and financial anxiety, it can be comforting to know that a lot of other dads are in the same position. We compiled these photos of some unusual parenting choices, some funny, some hair-raising, and some just plain odd. We hope you get some decent tips (or at least a few laughs) out of this list.
We Wonder How Long it Took Mom to Notice
“Price check on a baby? Can I get a price check on a baby?” The dad who took this picture must have seen an opportunity for a photo op when unpacking kiwis from a grocery shopping trip. He affixed a sticker to his baby’s head and posted it online. We just hope the rest of the family had a good sense of humor about the situation!
I Woke Up Like This
Mentor, teacher, disciplinarian; dads can play a lot of roles in a lifetime. This dad, however, took on the unorthodox part of serving as a makeup artist for his baby. Attaching these arched eyebrows and mustache totally changed the expression on the baby’s face. It’s an interesting look, but we’re not totally sure we’re going to stick with this, dad.
Bulking Up
Apparently, this guy needed some extra stabilization while eating his cake. He perched his sleeping baby on his forearm and put a plate on the infant’s back in order to have a proper flat surface for him to eat off of. Another explanation? He’s a bodybuilder who’s just starting out and really wants to focus on his flexor muscles.
