The Gender Of Stuff

Kids often play with things they find, not thinking about which gender they are intended for. That is probably the last thing on their mind. In fact, young boys who wear makeup are most likely expressing themselves and are exuding their confidence, as some studies show. We forget that in some civilizations, even grown men wear it. As evident in artifacts and paintings, it is believed that ancient Egyptian men wore eyeliners. So why should a young boy from the United States in the year 2019 be afraid to paint his nails red? Well, good question.
