Baby Fever Gone Horribly Wrong

In 2011, Steve read an article which told the story of Carlina White and that gave him the idea to look on missing people websites. White was taken from a hospital in Harlem, NY where she received treatment for a fever when she was only 19 days old. It’s believed that a woman pretending to be a nurse abducted her in the middle of the night. Ann Pettway raised her as Nejdra Nance in Bridgeport, Connecticut, very close to the place where her parents lived. After high school, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia and started asking questions about her identity.
