It’s Important to Know Where You Came From

Steve still hasn’t met his father, Mark Barnes, who currently resides in California and has two teenage daughters – and who never stopped wondering about his son since he disappeared in 1977. When Steve called him, he was speechless: all he was able to say was Wow. Oh wow. Steve, who’s married and works in Philadelphia for a medical software company, said he wondered a lot where he originally came from. While still settling in, Steve looks ahead to reuniting with his dad and sister in the summer. It feels good knowing where you came from, he said.
