1998 – A Role In An Iconic Movie
Sam played the part of the narrator in the film The Big Lebowski, which was one of the most renowned works of the Coen brothers. Sam’s deep and resonating voice was perfect for the part. He also appeared in the film and was credited as The Stranger.
He also appeared in other films, and one of these was the made-for-television movie, Texarkana. The second one is titled the Hi-Lo Country, in which a typical love triangle story unfolds. The difference is that it involves two cowboys who, unfortunately, fall for the same girl with the perfect smile.
